Part Time Instructors

Up to Six Positions

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative classroom instruction to apprentices and electricians.

  • Facilitate hands-on training sessions, ensuring practical skills development.

  • Foster a positive learning environment and encourage active participation.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.

  • Relevant Work Experience - at least 5-years in the field.

    Teaching Experience: Prior experience as an instructor or trainer preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex concepts effectively.

 

 

Part Time Training Director

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the NJ-IEC apprenticeship program, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Develop and enhance curriculum content to meet evolving industry needs.

  • Collaborate with instructors and industry experts to optimize training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety practices.

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to guide and motivate a team of instructors.

  • Program Development: Experience in curriculum design and program management.

Full Time Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to NJ-IEC leadership and staff.

  • Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence.

  • Assist with event planning, membership coordination, and record keeping.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and proficient in office software.

  • Customer Service: Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with members and stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Able to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
