On May 7th, 2025, the New Jersey Independent Electrical Contractors (NJIEC) community gathered at The Pines Manor in Edison, NJ to celebrate our 2025 apprentices. The annual Apprenticeship Graduation event was an inspiring evening filled with pride, recognition, and a shared commitment to excellence in the electrical trade.

Excellence Recognized: The Awards
Several apprentices received awards for outstanding performance highlighting their dedication and progress at every stage of the four-year program.
A-Team Awards were presented to those scoring over 90%, highlighting academic excellence and consistent effort.

Sharpest Tool in the School - Top Overall Apprentice:
Andrew Costagliola
Sharpest Tool in the Box awards were given to the top apprentices in each year level:
Year 1: Luis Melendez
Year 2: Daniel Grimm
Year 3: Oscar Macoto

100 Club Award, for earning a 100% score on the exam:
Daniel Buckley
Shoutout to Ron Pecina Jr. on getting The Hard Hat of Wisdom Award, honoring the instructor who had the student (Dan Buckley) with the only 100% exam score.
